Microwave Propagation Research Laboratory

A well established research and training Laboratory in microwave propagation has been set up in this Department with financial assistance from MHRD, UGC, DST (Govt. of India) and DoE (Govt. of India). The Laboratory is equipped with most modern and sophisticated facilities like Partial anechoic chamber for monostatic and bistatic radar cross section measurements, Rohde & Schwarz Network Analyser ZVB20, Automatic positioner for measuring radiation patterns etc.

Major topic of research include

  • High Impedance Electromagnetic Surfaces for RCS Reduction
  • Substrate Integrated Waveguide Antenna for Millimeter Application
  • Millimeter antennas
  • Microwave Filters
  • Frequency Selective Surfaces
  • Radar Cross Section Reduction
