CPS Lab support students in developing skills in Embedded systems, IoTs, Robotics, Hardware/Software security, Virtualization in embedded systems & Machine Learning. We aim to solve industrial problems related to hardware security, Embedded systems requirements and giving other technical supports. The lab has special interests in serving the society and fighting against social threats.

 

About CPSL

A well established research and training Laboratory for Cyber Physical Systems has been set up in this Department with financial assistance from Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), University Grants Commission (UGC), Department of Science and Technology (DST - Govt. of India), Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) and Department of Electronics (Govt. of India). The Laboratory is equipped with most modern and sophisticated equipments like High Performance Computers (HPCs). CPS Lab aims to work on Cyber Security and Cyber Defence, Hardware security, Embedded Systems Design, Robotics, Internet of Things, Virtualization, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Major works currently undertaken are:

  • Hardware Security with Physically Unclonable Functions
  • Optimizations for virtualized mobile computing
  • Image/Video Analytics with AI and ML
